Clinical and Research Interests:

  1. Diagnosis and treatment of intractable pediatric epilepsy
  2. Genetic and pathological mechanisms of intractable pediatric epilepsy
  3. Pediatric epilepsy surgery – advancement of localization and outcome
  4. Management of intractable pediatric epilepsy in brain malformations, including focal cortical dysplasias and Tuberous Sclerosis
  5. Developmental outcome and functional brain reorganization after epilepsy resective surgery and corpus callosotomy
  6. Neurophysiology and long-term video EEG monitoring with extracranial and intracranial electrodes
  7. Development of new and innovative medical treatments for intractable epilepsies in children
